Subsrc Summary Report
The Subsrc Summary Report shows the number of subscriptions by the source of the subscription. Each promo code (sub source = subsrc) is shown on the report with a total count of how many subscriptions came in with that code. The publisher uses this report to see where the subscriptions are coming from. They will be able to see what sources are generating the most subscriptions versus which ones may not be generating as many as was hoped.
Subsrc is the identifying code used to track the source of subscription (also known as promo code).
When adding records from the "add bank", the publisher may want to add them from a certain sub source first. Example: Add subscriptions from subsrc 1A first.
A publisher may also want to send the subscribers from a certain sub source a magazine with different advertising inserts, so they can use this report to get a count of how many of each version is needed. Or the publisher may want to send an email to only a certain sub source to target a particular market.
