RSS Feeds
RSS stands for Rich Site Summary, often dubbed as Really Simple Syndication. Our friends at Wikipedia note that RSS is a vehicle for publishing content from blogs, news headlines, audio, video, etc. to your audience. RSS is a benefit to subscribers who want to receive timely updates from their favorite websites or to aggregate data from many sites.
Subscribing to an RSS feed removes the need for the user to manually check the website for new content. Instead, when they receive an email from the publisher, the RSS feed is embedded in the mail through the RSS Codesnippet.
Setting Up RSS Feed Selections
Before you place the RSS feed in your content, you’ll want to set up RSS feeds to choose from. Click the ‘RSS FEEDS’ link from the second navigation line:

Select the appropriate option from the dropdown, and press the OK button.
The feed will be inserted as shown below.
Note: The feed pulls what is available at the time of the campaign send, so the length of the feed may appear differently at testing time than it does on the actual send. The email system also makes a copy of the feed at the time of the send. Click on Preview under blast details to see what was included in the feed at the time of the send.
