To open or close an issue, click the Open Close link located on the Circulation Services landing page and select the desired Product.
Depending on where the last user left off with the issue, certain processes may be locked or unlocked. Data Entry will be unlocked immediately upon creating a new issue.
The Orange Unlocked toggle button indicates the corresponding functionality is unlocked. The Blue Locked toggle button indicates the corresponding functionality is locked. To unlock functionality, click the faded Orange Lock toggle button. To lock, click the faded Blue Lock toggle button.
In order to move forward unlocking the next functionality, the preceding functionalities must first be locked. Once functionality has been locked, the next functionality will unlock automatically. External Import and Internal Import can be unlocked/locked interchangeably, however both need to be locked before moving on to Add Remove.
Data Entry is the only functionality that can be reopened at any point. Before locking data entry, be sure to close all open batches for that issue.
