Manage Preferences
The Manage Preferences link can be found on the blue task bar on the Home page.
A user can search for records across all products that contain PII (Personally Identifiable Information) using any combination of First Name, Last Name, Email, Company or Title.
After search is complete, the Manage Preferences page will show results matching the search criteria separated into three sections: UAD, ECN, and Domain Tracker. Each section can be expanded or collapsed using the arrows on the right of the sections to view/hide details.
User can filter the results based on the GDPR Can Process flag: Any, Yes, or No
User can mark/select the search results records for processing: Export or Delete
User can export the resulting records to an Excel file for sending to the Subscriber to support Right of Access. Best practice advice is to password protect the excel file when emailed to the Subscriber and send the password in a separate email. This is needed for securely transferring the data if secure email is not enabled on the client’s email server.
User can delete the resulting records from our systems to support the Right of Erasure (aka Right to be Forgotten).
When a record is selected for deletion, KM will delete all PII and activity records from the database, and keep an encoded/anonymized record of the Subscriber deletion.
COMING SOON: In Phase II of the GDPR updates, all processing done on this page will be recorded in a new table to support audit requests.
